Sound-Based Travel Resources for Billy Bishop Airport

Culture of Calm partnered with Nieuport Aviation to introduce calming, sound-based resources for passengers travelling through Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

Designed with sensory-aware travel in mind, the project offered simple tools to help passengers feel more grounded, regulated, and at ease in a busy airport environment. Travellers could access the resources by scanning QR codes displayed on banners and stickers throughout the domestic and transborder lounges.

As part of the activation, founder Bianca Lee also appeared live in the terminal through the Music on the Fly series, offering a calming sound bath experience for passengers in transit.
